Our work is embedded, operational, and tooled — the kind of personalized, cost-efficient finance function usually reserved for companies twice the size of our clients. We focus on the practical: clean books, defensible numbers, disciplined capital allocation, and decision-ready reporting.
Our Story
Dennis Capital, Ltd. was incorporated in October 2025.
Dennis Capital was founded to bring institutional-quality finance practices to private, owner-operated companies. Before launching the firm, our principals built and ran investment strategies including a Focused SMID Cap and a Focused Large Cap Growth composite, with disciplined GIPS-compliant reporting. That investor’s mindset — analytical rigor, capital discipline, and a long-horizon view — sits at the heart of every engagement we take on today.
Over more than a decade, we have served as fractional CFO, board advisor, deal lead, and operational partner to founders and owners in industries ranging from professional services and light manufacturing to specialty finance and real estate.

We work exclusively with owner-operated businesses. Our recommendations are made with the owner’s long-term economic interest as the primary objective — not headcount, not optics, not empire-building.

Leadership
The firm is led by a principal with more than fifteen years of buy-side investment, corporate finance, and operating experience. Prior engagements include managing public equity composites, leading underwriting on private credit and private equity transactions, and serving as fractional CFO to multiple owner-operated companies.
